The Office of the Auditor General of Canada will conduct an audit on the financing of sustainable development technologies in Canada

Ottawa, 1 November 2023—The Office of the Auditor General of Canada (OAG) has decided to conduct an audit on how Sustainable Development Technology Canada is financing sustainable development technologies within the portfolio of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. This decision comes in response to recent discussions with the Department and information received by the OAG.

The audit report will be tabled in the House of Commons in 2024. Information about the context and objective of the audit will be communicated on the Planned Reports page at a later date. The audit report will be available on the OAG website after tabling.
