Reports to Parliament
The Office of the Auditor General of Canada typically submits two reports on performance audits to the House of Commons every year:
- An annual report in the fall; and
- A spring report.
Our audits of the government’s financial statements are also tabled in Parliament. In some cases, we report the findings of specific audits to a Minister of the Crown.
On behalf of the Auditor General, the Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development reports to Parliament on the environmental petitions process, sustainable development strategies, and any other matters that the Commissioner believes should be brought to its attention.
